Dangers In The Construction Industry – Occupational Health Explained

Caleb Netherton from Latus Health is giving us the run down of dangers that some employees can be exposed to in the construction industry. Some physical risks include loud noise exposure, manual handling and working with vibrating equipment and machinery. Some of the hazardous materials can include carbon monoxide, lead or dust. Some substances like asbestos and silica are considered carcinogenic and require strict working procedures when working in close proximity to them.

It is repeated long exposure to the elements like this that can have a negative impact on the employees health and why correct PPE is required.
